Selection of mechanical seal structure type:

     The selection of the mechanical seal structure type is an important step in the design process. When selecting the mechanical seal structure type, due to the diversity of the mechanical seal structure, it is necessary to select the appropriate structure according to different uses, specific use requirements and working conditions. After the initial selection, the following view points can be considered:

(1) Medium characteristics: concentration, viscosity, corrosiveness, whether there are solid particles and fiber impurities, whether it is easy for them to vaporize or crystallize, etc.;

 (2) Working parameters: pressure and temperature of the sealed medium, shaft diameter and speed;

(3) The requirements of the main engine (pump, kettle and process equipment, etc.) for the allowable leakage amount and leakage direction of the sealed medium, and the requirements for the life and reliability of the sealing device;

     (4) The limitation of the host on the structure and size of the sealing device;

     (5) Stability of operation and production process.
