a. Why choose cartridge seal with single spring (advantages and applicable scenarios)
Anti clogging performance: This is the core advantage. Because there is only one large spring and it is usually arranged outside the conveying medium (stationary type), particles and crystals in the medium are not easily trapped in the spring, making it suitable for conveying media containing solid particles (such as slurry and alkali solution).
Installation convenience: Compared to loose sealing, cartridge seal with single spring greatly simplifies the installation process, reduces the technical requirements for on-site installation personnel, and minimizes failures caused by improper installation.

Spring failure: Long term operation in corrosive media or high temperatures may cause corrosion, fracture, or relaxation of large springs, resulting in insufficient compensation force and leakage.
Installation Misconception: Although the modular design is"adjustment free", if the shaft sleeve is not clean (scratches the O-ring), the bolt torque is uneven (deformation of the cover), or the pump shaft alignment is ignored, it can still lead to seal failure.
