Prioritize the scenario of using a single spring: When the medium contains a small amount of particles, is prone to crystallization, or is corrosive, a single spring is a more reliable choice. For example, pumps are widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, papermaking, and wastewater treatment.
b. Proper installation and maintenance are key to ensuring sealing effectiveness:
Pay attention to the rotation direction: If using a coil spring transmission, it is necessary to ensure that the spring rotation direction is consistent with the pump shaft rotation direction. The judgment method is: from the static ring side, the pump shaft rotates clockwise with a right-handed spring and counterclockwise with a left-handed spring.
Control compression amount: The compression amount of the spring must be strictly adjusted according to regulations, and the error is generally required to be within ± 2.00mm. Excessive wear can accelerate end face wear, while insufficient wear may lead to leakage.
Keep clean: During installation, the sealing end faces of the dynamic and static rings and the surface of the auxiliary sealing ring must be absolutely clean, free of impurities and dust.
Test verification: After installation, static pressure test and dynamic pressure test are required to confirm that there is no leakage and the operation is stable before it can be officially put into use.
