Standard customization process
 

a. Requirement collection and working condition confirmation
This is the most crucial first step. customized seal providers  need to understand core parameters such as equipment type, shaft diameter, sealing chamber size, medium, temperature, pressure, and speed. If the customer only has old parts, the customized seal providers  can arrange for sample surveying.
 

b. Scheme design and drawing confirmation
The technical team will select materials (end faces, elastomers, metal parts) and design structures based on the working conditions, and provide CAD drawings.
 

c. Sample trial production and testing
After the drawings are confirmed, the customized seal providers  will arrange for sample production and conduct quality control testing.
 

d. Batch production and delivery
After the sample acceptance is passed, it will enter mass production. Batch orders usually take 15-30 days.
 

Cycle and Cost Reference
The design and manufacturing cost of customized parts is usually 2-10 times that of standard parts, as it involves additional engineering, mold, and testing inputs. But if the frequent failure of standard seals leads to downtime losses, customized solutions may be more cost-effective in terms of full lifecycle costs.

Suggestions for efficient promotion
When preparing for customization, try to provide photos of equipment nameplates, physical or drawings of old seals, and complete operating parameters, which can significantly shorten the communication time in the early stage. If the budget or cycle is tight, you can ask the customized seal providers  if there is a"standard part improvement"plan (such as replacing the elastic material or end face material) to achieve a balance between cost and performance.
