Media characteristics: name, concentration, corrosiveness, presence of solid particles (crystals or fibers), viscosity, and susceptibility to vaporization.
Operating parameters: temperature (minimum/maximum/fluctuation), pressure (inlet/outlet, constant or pulse), speed or shaft diameter, shaft runout.
Equipment information: pump/kettle model, sealing chamber size, installation space limitations. Providing old parts or drawings directly to the customized seal factory is the most efficient way.
Expected standards: Whether it is required to comply with standards such as DIN24960, GB6556, or to replace a certain imported brand model.

Be wary of the promise of 'anything can be done': the material and structure of mechanical seals are highly dependent on the working conditions. A customized seal factory specializing in clean water pumps may not be able to handle high-temperature oil pumps or media containing particles well.
