AS-C254 Customized Single Cartridge Mechanical Seal

Background Knowledge：

These two paragraphs briefly talk about the appearance quality inspection and static pressure sealing performance sampling inspection of mechanical seals.

The appearance quality inspection mainly includes the following aspects:

1. There should be no cracks, scratches, pores and other defects on the sealing end faces of the mechanical seal.

2. The mechanical seals are clean and free of burrs and dirt.

3. The auxiliary sealing ring should be smooth and flat, without deformation and defects.

4. When the spring is compressed to rigid contact, the free height change of a single spring should not be greater than 1mm, and the free height difference of multiple springs should not be greater than 0.5mm

If the user deems it necessary and has inspection means, a set of mechanical seal can be selected from each batch of mechanical seals for hydrostatic sealing performance inspection. The inspection method is to conduct a hydraulic test at 1.25 times the maximum working pressure, and the leakage shall not exceed the specified value for 15 minutes.
