What are the assembly requirements for mechanical seals when machinary equipment is installed

1. The mechanical seal parts should not be damaged or deformed; the sealing surface should not have defects such as cracks and scratches.

2. During the assembly process, the parts should be kept clean, and there should be no rust; the end faces of the rotary face and stationary seat of the spindle sealing device and the surface of the sealing ring should be free of foreign matter and dust.

3. The compression amount of the mechanical seal shall comply with the provisions of the equipment technical documents.

4. After assembly, the rotor should be flexibly rotated by hand.

5. There should be no continuous relative rotation and no leakage between the rotary face and stationary seat and the matching components.

6. The flushing and sealing system of the mechanical seal should be kept clean and free of foreign matter.
