Precautions for  warehouse storage of mechanical  seals

① In the warehousing and delivery of spare parts, management shall be carried out according to warehousing time. Use packing boxes with  date sticks, and clearly fill in the year, month, and day of storage.

② Touch the working end faces of the friction pair of the said mechanical seal with your hands as little as possible. Sweat stains can cause corrosion of cemented carbide.

③ Long-term storage of rubber parts will cause aging,  and rubber parts should be stored in an environment where the temperature is -15~35°C and the relative humidity is not more than 80%. The storage period should be at most one year.

④ When the sealing rings of insert structure are used after being placed for a long time,flatness of the sealing end faces of the said mechanical seal should be checked for changes, and if necessary, it should be re-ground before use.
