Cause Analysis

Under high temperature, the cooling water scales, which wears the inner edge of the graphite ring, and at the same time, the gaps between the rotary face and the shaft sleeve are also filled with scale, which causes the sealing ring to lose compensation ability.
Solution
1.It can be solved by demineralized water; if the temperature is too high during flushing and cooling, the temperature can be lowered, and an appropriate flushing scheme can be selected.
2. Magnetized water can also be used, which can magnetize many free molecules in the water into molecular chains, reducing the chance of scaling.
3.For media that are easy to crystallize such as those in alkali pumps, hard-to-hard materials can be used for friction pair to reduce such failures of mechanical seals.
