Mechanical seals are made of several parts and their individual materials are chosen according to their corresponding functions. Commonly used materials of main parts of mechanical seals are divided into four categories：friction pair（rotary face and stationary seat）material，secondary seal material，elastic element material and other material.The following has listed friction pair material and secondary seal material according to different（medium，concentration，temperature）working conditions.
