What are the materials for making mechanical seal springs

The spring of the mechanical seal should have sufficient strength, be resistant to corrosion by the medium, and have no or little attenuation of stiffness under long-term use at the working temperature. Commonly used spring materials are phosphor bronze, beryllium copper, 65Mn, 60Si2Mn, 50CrV, 3Cr13, 4Cr13, 1Cr18Ni9Ti, Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti, etc. Phosphor bronze and beryllium copper springs are used in oil and seawater; carbon steel springs are suitable for use in normal temperature non-corrosive media; 50CrV is mostly used in high temperature oil media, chrome steel is used in weak corrosive media; stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti and Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti can be used in corrosive media such as dilute nitric acid, acetic acid, and urea, and coating measures are required for some strong acids.
