The core roleof the cartridge seal pumps is to pre-integrate the traditional seal, which needs to be assembled on site one by one, into a standardized overall module. This module is like a "plug-and-play" seal component, its value is mainly reflected in the three aspects of more reliable sealing, longer life and minimal installation and maintenance.
 
1. Core Function: Reliable Sealing
Functionally, it prevents fluid from leaking along the pump shaft through the close fit of the dynamic and static rings. Compared to conventional seals, it can withstand more demanding conditions:
Handling complex media: can effectively seal liquids containing strong corrosion, high temperature, volatile components, or with suspended particles, fibers.
Provides redundant protection: Dual-end face design of the container seal, with "two lines of defense", even if one level of seal fails, the other level can still prevent leakage.
Maintain critical lubrication: by introducing coolant or rinse, ensure that the sealing surface always has liquid film lubrication, to avoid dry grinding.

 
2. Core advantages: far beyond traditional seals
It is fundamentally different from traditional seals (such as plate root seals) or non-assembly seals in the following three main advantages:
Eliminate installation errors, high reliability: each part of the traditional seal needs to be assembled precisely on site, the spring compression, concentricity, etc. depend on the worker's technology, which is very easy to make mistakes. The assembly seal has been adjusted to all gaps and compression at the factory.
Significantly extends life and reduces maintenance costs: this is its most prominent practical benefit. Especially when handling sludge containing solid particles (such as mineral sludge, coal sludge), traditional filling seals wear very quickly and need to be replaced frequently.
Designed to protect the sealing surface from cracking: When the pump starts, if the sealing surface is not lubricated with liquid, dry friction can cause a sharp rise in temperature. When the pumped low-temperature liquid subsequently arrives, a large temperature difference can cause the sealing ring (especially the hard alloy material) to crack. The container seal can be filled with coolant into the sealing cavity before starting, completely surrounding the sealing surface, effectively preventing this damage caused by heat shock.
