October 1st is China's National Day. To my joyfulness,enjoying the great time of watching the yearly military parade on TV while chatting, we don't forget that it is motherland that safeguards the peacefulness of our lives!
Looking back on this year's news, we will definitely feel that the motherland, a community of destiny，shares weal and woe with us:
The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly stated that China's economy has shifted from high-speed growth to high-quality development, which makes us happy；
We are gratified that a large number of foreign scientists of Chinese descent return to China as their forerunners do；
The frequent small tricks of the United States on the Taiwan question make us indignant；
We are moved by the touching stories that take place in various disasters-striken places；
China's outstanding performance in the world's fight against the epidemic makes us proud...
Yes, we all have a national consciousness, which leads to the saying that "Science has no borders, but scientists have a motherland".
Yes, we have native land emotions, so we will say "we do not encourage nationalist sentiments, but we care about national sovereignty and territorial integrity."
We are also wise because of knowledge of history（“weak countries have no diplomacy”“there will be no intact eggs under the toppled nest”）, so we will be proud of the ever-growing motherland’s national strength
In another aspect，it is self-evident that all mankind or the whole world is also a community with a shared future, so we also recognize the weight of common values ike "democracy", "civility", "harmony", "freedom", "equality", "justice",that's why we also put these words included in our Socialist Core Values.
