What factors to be considered in designing mechanical seals based on the different characteristics of different types of reactors

The reactor is a large-sized equipment, and it is necessary to install the mechanical seal on the reactor one by one. However,to ensure its accuracy,the general requirement for the structure of the mechanical seal is that it is easy to assemble and disassemble. The environmental conditions and characteristics of the mechanical seal for reactors will be analyzed in the following context.
1. Stirring shaft side-entry reactor
Mechanical seals for this type of reactor generally do not have the problem of poor lubrication, but the liquid level of the medium in the reactor must be kept at a certain height. From a mechanical and technological point of view, the design of this reactor has many shortcomings: For the shaft protruding from one side of the reactor, the shaft is in a cantilever state, so it is prone to vibration, and the mechanical seal is sensitive to vibration. For the shaft protruding from both sides, the shaft must be centered with the supporting device on the reactor body, and it is difficult to meet this requirement, so the balance between the shaft and the reactor is very complicated. When the operating temperature changes greatly, the expansion and contraction of the shaft is large. If the excessive expansion and contraction are all borne by the mechanical seal, the mechanical seal will easily fail. However, the rotating speed of this kind of reactor is not high, as long as corresponding measures are taken, this problem can be solved.
