1. The rise of non-contact sealing technology: Traditional contact mechanical seals are prone to leakage and have a short lifespan under harsh working conditions such as high pressure and low speed. As a non-contact technology, dry gas seal can achieve zero lubricating oil leakage at high pressure and low speed through the principle of "static floating", significantly reducing pollution and extending equipment operation cycle, especially suitable for scenarios with environmental protection requirements.
 
2. The design of sealing systems tends towards modularity and intelligence:
Easy to maintain design: The new side entry agitator integrates a shut-off system, which can isolate and maintain mechanical seals online without emptying the storage tank or disassembling the mixer, significantly reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
Design adapted to complex working conditions: For high viscosity, easily crystallized or particle containing media, a cooling mechanical seal with rapid cooling and lip sealing is adopted. By controlling the sealing surface temperature and preventing material adhesion, the sealing life is effectively extended.
Strict industry hygiene design: In the food and pharmaceutical industries, hygienic design of seals has become a necessity, requiring springs to not come into contact with products, have no dead corners, and be easy to clean by CIP to ensure compliance with strict hygiene regulations.
Digitization empowers full lifecycle management: state monitoring sensors and predictive maintenance platforms are being integrated with seal design. By monitoring the sealing status in real-time, failure modes can be predicted and replacement cycles can be optimized, thereby improving the mean time between failures (MTBF) and reducing overall cost of ownership (TCO).
