1. Background
 multi spring seal  is a high-performance shaft seal device widely used in modern fluid equipment, especially suitable for scenarios such as chemical pumps and desulfurization agitators that require high sealing reliability. It combines the two technological advantages of "multiple springs (small springs)" and "modular design", and is significantly superior to traditional mechanical seals in terms of installation convenience, operational stability, and maintenance efficiency.
This type of seal has been widely used in the fields of petroleum, chemical, environmental protection, etc. The API610 standard also recommends the use of  multi spring seal  in critical working conditions.

a. Spring is isolated from the medium to prevent corrosion and blockage
The small spring is located outside the sealed chamber or isolated from the process medium through structural design, avoiding spring failure caused by particle deposition or chemical corrosion, and improving the reliability of long-term operation.


b. Easy to install, no need to adjust compression on site
All components have been pre assembled and tested before leaving the factory. During installation, only the cover bolts need to be fitted and tightened as a whole, without the need to measure the working length or manually adjust the spring compression, greatly reducing the risk of human error.

c. High sealing reliability, sealing upon startup
Because the sealing performance test has been conducted before leaving the factory to ensure a good fit between the dynamic and static rings, it avoids the common starting leakage problem of traditional seals.

d. Good compensation performance, adaptable to axial wear
Designed with a dynamic ring seal and positioning block structure, it can automatically compensate for the gap after the dynamic/static ring wears out, maintaining the sealing effect.

f. Support multiple auxiliary system interface extensions
According to the needs, flushing holes, cooling holes and other interfaces can be machined on the gland to flexibly adapt to different working conditions, such as high temperature, low temperature or impurity containing media.
